Accessory: Designer Test Language
The Designer Test Language (DTL) is for test engineers that desire the flexibility to create customized test applications. It features over 200 commands encompassing the entire spectrum of mechanical testing. Using the DTL Builder within WinTest® software, the instrument settings are used to create a simple DTL file that can be used by inexperienced operators for duplicating the test. The file can also be modified to create a more comprehensive application program with data analysis and report generation. A built-in text editor and command library provides rapid program development and debugging.

There are several DTL applications that have been written for Bose customers, including: Chewing, DMC, Laser, TMF, Break Detection, Mover Synchronization, 8 Arm Hub and Stroke Extension.
