Mechanical Fatigue Testing

Mechanical Fatigue Testing applications require test systems with great endurance. Multi-million cycle tests are typical and fatigue test systems have traditionally only been rated to 100 million cycles. Advanced high cycle fatigue studies often demand high frequency performance which is only available from systems requiring high expense and maintenance. The introduction of ElectroForce® series test instruments ushered in new standards for performance, endurance and reliability with maintenance-free, high frequency, multi-billion cycle performance.

Mechanical fatigue and wear testers can also be very customized and Bose sets itself apart by developing specialized systems tailored to customer test requirements. Our staff of software, mechanical, and electrical engineers have developed advanced computer controls and other system elements for manufacturing state-of-the-art test solutions. Our systems are configured with pre-engineered mechanical and control modules. This approach provides enhanced system reliability while enabling us to quickly deliver highly customized test systems.

The mechanical fatigue and wear systems are controlled from a personal computer using the WinTest® digital control system. The WinTest digital control system is easy to run, yet powerful enough for the most sophisticated test requirements. The following are a few examples of fatigue and wear platforms available from Bose.
